Day 1: Fes to Merzouga Desert
Atlas Guides Morocco organize private and guided tour from Fes to explore Sahara desert. We will pick up you from hotel/riad/ bus station in Fes city and then we drive from Fes to Midelt and Merzouga desert. We visit Ifrane, a famous winter ski resort. Then we visit the cedars forest in Azrou where we may watch the monkeys. We continue Morocco tour driving across the Middle Atlas mountains passing Erfoud,famous for fossil products and then to Rissani. We reach Merzouga desert in the afternoon, and we stay in desert hotel with dinner.
Day 2: Excursion in Merzouga desert:
Tour from Fes to desert and Marrakech continues also today and we explore Merzouga desert, which is the gate to the desert dunes. We will visit also Khamlia village , famous for its music. Later today we ride camels to reach desert camp where we enjoy a mint tea with the Nomads. We will climb high dunes to watch the sunset in desert of Morocco . We will enjoy traditional dinner at camp and friendly Nomad guides will play music for us around a campfire. This night we sleep under nomads desert tents in Merzouga Sahara desert.
Day 3: Merzouga desert – Todra Gorges -
Today we prepare for a Trip back to Marrakech. We ride the camels to the hotel in Merzouga. Then after breakfast we drive to Rissani and Erfoud. We continue our Morocco tour towards Todra valley, Dades Valley and we stop in Ouarzazate. We will visit Unesco site of Ait Benhaddou, then we pass Atlas mountains to reach Marrakech in the late afternoon. This is end of tour from Fes.
